About the Accommodation

The cottage La Vielle Ferme adjoins my main house and was completely renovated and refurbished in 2022-2023. The set makes up an old farmhouse dating from 1899.


On the ground floor you will find a kitchen and a living room with Tarn bricks.


The kitchen is fully equipped (oven, microwave, hob, extractor, fridge, freezer, Nespresso coffee maker, kettle, toaster).

   


The living room has a sofa and a dining area for 5 people. It is equipped with a connected television (with Netflix & Canal+ access).

    


Upstairs is the sleeping area with 2 bedrooms and a bathroom WC. Both bedrooms are equipped with reversible air conditioning.

The 1st bedroom is equipped with a double bed of 140 x 190 cm.



The 2nd bedroom is modular (to be specified before arrival) and can accommodate:

  • a kingsize bed of 180 x 190 cm for 2 people and a bed of 90 x 190 cm for 1 person
  • or 3 beds of 90 x 190 cm for 3 people

  


The bathroom is equipped with an 80 x 120 cm shower.

   


You will also have access to shared spaces throughout the property:

  • garden (with tables, benches, chairs, deckchairs, garden armchairs)
  • swimming pool 5 x 10, treated with salt, heated as soon as the weather permits and accessible from the beginning of May to the beginning of October depending on the weather
  • large covered terrace with pallet lounge
  • Ping pong table
  • secure space for bicycles, strollers...


The house and the garden are connected by WIFI provided free of charge.

Babies are welcome, please specify before your arrival your needs in high chair, travel cot...


The house is old and unfortunately it is impossible for us to guarantee easy access to people with severe motor disabilities.

Base price per night for 2 people (variable according to season). 20€ per additional person.

The price includes :

  • accommodation,
  • bed linen, bathroom linen (two towels per person + 1 pool towel), household linen
  • beds made on arrival
  • access to the entire property (including the swimming pool depending on the season)
  • WIFI access, house & garden accessible
  • car park (2 vehicles max)
  • secure bike space
  • optional to be requested before arrival: baby bed (cot with mattress and fitted sheet), baby bath, child bed barrier, high chair

The price does not include:

  • the tourist tax (variable according to the number of people and age, to be paid on site),
  • cleaning and laundry costs (compulsory package €60).

Payment information:

  • 20% deposit on booking
  • balance before entering the site (at the latest on arrival)

Cancellation rules:

  • free cancellation up to two weeks before the scheduled arrival date
  • cancellation between one and two weeks before the scheduled arrival date: 50% of the total amount
  • cancellation less than a week before the scheduled arrival date: 100% of the total amount
  • no-show on the scheduled arrival date: 100% of the total amount

Neighbourhood

Located in the town center of Gaillac, in the heart of a 2000m2 property, you will benefit from an independent house adjoining that of the owners.

The bucolic garden hosts a swimming pool (heated from may to september) as well as other spaces that can be shared (on request and prior agreement).

The house is 10 minutes walk from the historic center of Gaillac.


To prepare your stay, do not hesitate to consult the website of the tourist office La Toscane Occitane.

You will find all the walks, walks, visits to do in the Gaillacois sector as well as all the events not to be missed.

You can also reach the tourist office on (33) 0 805 400 828 (free call from landlines and mobiles), every day, Monday to Sunday from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. and from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Transport

You can access La Vieille Ferme in many ways:

  • By car: A68 motorway (Toulouse Albi) less than 2km away. You can park for free on the property.
  • By train: Gaillac station serves Toulouse and Albi and is less than 15 minutes walk from the house. A free shuttle can also drop you off 20m from the house.
  • By plane: from Toulouse Blagnac airport, then by train or taxi.

Once there, you can access the historic center of Gaillac in less than 10 minutes on foot or by the free shuttle.
